Keeneland Sales Graduates Bowies Hero, Midnight Bisou among Weekend Stakes Winners

Keeneland September Yearling Sales alumni Bowies Hero and Midnight Bisou lead the roster of Keeneland sales graduates who captured weekend stakes.

The victory by Bowies Hero came at Del Mar, where he scored a 2½-length win in Sunday’s Eddie Read (G2). The day before,Catalina Cruiser took the San Diego (G2) for the second consecutive year, and Mucho Unusual recorded her first graded stakes victory when she scored a narrow win in the San Clemente (G2).

On Saturday at Monmouth, Midnight Bisou remained undefeated in 2019 by winning the Molly Pitcher (G3) for her fifth graded stakes victory of the year. Just Howard held off Divisidero to win the Oceanport (G3), and War Story battled back to take the Monmouth Cup (G3).
